Challenege
Create a non-partisan brand aimed at bringing people together without party lines influencing the ability to discuss and find common ground on major issues facing the United States in its current political discourse.
Solution
The first stage was to identify the group of people who are interested enough in politics to have a conversation and secondly the people who are rational enough to discuss issues in a non-partisan manner. The term politic people was coined, encompassing individuals who are interested in getting involved in politics to simply better the current situation. The two colors of the major parties, blue for Democrats, and red for Republicans was introduced into the symbol of the logo in a cohesive connection with the color of grey behind, symbolizing the grey area that every issue holds between these two parties as well as the independents who live in this area of politics. The typography was specifically chosen because of the sharp edges which symbolizes the intense nature and scrutiny of politics and the pressures of speaking your opinions in the current political climate.
Results
A brand which clearly identifies with common sense individuals who want nothing more than to secure a solid future for the next generation of Americans. The brand is being integrated in a comprehensive website which includes a custom political social community to increase grass roots movements that cross party and state lines.
